I’m a writer by day and musical theatre actor and comedy improviser by night. My three favourite words are invention, innovation and imagination.
Before turning my hand to copywriting I worked at Bain and Company as a communications trainer, took the role of design studio manager for the Victoria and Albert Museum and was the commercial manager for a London-based design and advertising agency.
In 2006 I moved to Dubai and in 2011 began writing a blog, Where’s my Ruby Slippers? which encouraged me to pursue a career in writing.
In 2015, I was awarded an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University. During my studies I began working in Dubai as a copywriter and editor, before repatriating to the UK in Summer 2015. I now run ReadWriteShine, a business which specialises in copywriting as well as writing and communications workshops for small businesses.
I have a husband and an 8 year old son and play terrible tennis.
