I’m a writer by day and comedy improviser by night. My three favourite words are invention, innovation and imagination.
My career has spanned twenty glorious and fascinating years; Before turning my hand to copywriting I worked at Bain and Company as a communications trainer, took the role of design studio manager for the Victoria and Albert Museum and was the commercial manager for a London-based design and advertising agency. These jobs gave me valuable experience and insight into the world of branding, communication, writing and design. In 2006 I moved to Dubai and in 2011 began writing a blog, Where’s my Ruby Slippers? which encouraged me to pursue a career in writing.
In 2015, I was awarded an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University, specialising in business writing and non fiction. During my studies I began working in Dubai as a copywriter and editor, before repatriating to the UK in Summer 2015.
I specialise in copywriting for small business and the Performing Arts. Should you want to get in touch to find out more or to enquire about copywriting and editing work, please feel free to contact me.
